A Jambient band that creates Bluesy, 70's-inspired music, along with covering bands such as The Grateful Dead, Allman Brothers Band, Janis Joplin, Fleetwood Mac, Led Zeppelin, The Beatles, Jethro Tull, and more. 2 NoN BoBs' first album coming soon.

St. Thomas of Villanova Laetate Ringers

The Laetate Ringers, true to their name which means "Rejoice," is a happy group of members of St. Thomas of Villanova Parish. We practice weekly from May through September and play at various Church services, especially at Christmas and Easter. We are pleased to have four octaves of beautiful Malmark bronze handbells and three octaves of aluminum Choirchimes. Our repertoire consists mostly of hymns and other sacred pieces, but for PorchFest, we are enjoying adding some folk tunes and other genres.

Manali

Manali is an improvisation based, fusion-rock band that performs all original music.

Jay Carlis & The Barrel Fires

Catchy original Americana rock tunes with beautiful male/female harmonies and lyrics that dig deep below the surface. The bands' sound and songwriting is inspired by Jason Isbell, Josh Ritter, Drive-by-Truckers and His Golden Messenger. Jay has released two solo albums and the band has released two EPS, all available on all the streaming platforms.

Fairmount Strings

Described as “likable and warmhearted” by the Philadelphia Inquirer, and “expert to the point of perfection” by the Chestnut Hill Local, the Fairmount String Quartet is dedicated to bringing the intimacy and vitality of chamber music to diverse audiences and is committed to performing classical works of historically under-performed composers in addition to those in the standard classical repertoire, works by women composers, and works in diverse genres including pop, jazz, folk, and Latin music.

TC3

TC3 is an acoustic trio which puts its spin on Americana, Folk and even some Classic Rock tunes in addition to original music written by Terri Camilari Making their mark on familiar tunes is what they provide using Guitar, Ukulele and Violin, strong vocals and new but intriguing arrangements.

The Baldwin B-Flats

Beautiful harmonies. Heart-filled solos. Sweet Sounds for any afternoon. Expansive repertoires from classical to jazz to current pop hits that no one can resist.

The Larks

The Larks, founded in 1961, and the longest running community outreach program of the Junior League of Philadelphia, is an a cappella singing group of 15 volunteer women. From September to June, they perform throughout the Delaware Valley at a variety of venues. The Larks always look forward to welcoming new members into their group.

Philadelphia Main Line Ukulele Group

Philadelphia Main Line Ukulele Meetup Group is a free jam group that promotes ukulele playing, activities, and music education. We hold online and in-person events. Our repertoire is eclectic and includes pop music from many eras and styles. Join us! We love new players. The ukulele is a very approachable instrument. They say you can’t be unhappy while playing a ukulele! It’s true!

St. Katharine's Youth Chorus

Under the direction of Dr. Latham and Mrs. Stephanie Twohig the St. Katharine's Youth Chorus will be in their 8th season this coming school year. This group is comprised of teens from public, private and parochial high schools and colleges. These talents teens lead worship and accompany at the various masses throughout the year and at our once a month Youth Mass.

Happy Little Train Wreck

Happy Little Train Wreck has been playing music together for over 13 years now. Representing three generations of musical influence. In that time we’ve tried to put our spin on all genres of music, Polka to Punk. Primarily with two acoustic guitars and an upright bass creating the bed for beautiful vocals.

Rented Mule

A foot-stompin’ blend of bluegrass & country music, from traditional favorites to contemporary sounds. Combines guitars, mandolin, banjo, steel guitars, fiddle & bass with heartfelt vocals.

Rick's Office Band

Rick's Office Band is a Classic and Blues Rock Band playing covers from the last 5 decades. Our music focuses on vocal harmonies and melodic guitar leads. Our music covers music by Fleetwood Mac, Tom Petty, Lynyrd Sknyrd, and many more. We have been playing the Chester County area for the last 6 years and we are thrilled to make our 4th visit to the South Wayne Porchfest.

Mojo and the Helper Monkeys covers everything from Johnny Cash, Elvis, The Supremes and CCR to Michael Jackson, Hall and Oates, and AC/DC. Just ask and we"ll try anything within our bluegrass set up and Mamas and Papas-esque harmonies. Get Ready for Fun!

The Agnes Irwin Bel Cantos

The Bel Cantos are the a cappella ensemble from The Agnes Irwin Upper School. We perform music from all genres and styles - from the most contemporary to madrigals from the 16th century. We represent our school performing throughout the area at charity events, community functions, and choral festivals.

The Chaperones

The Chaperones are a rock trio based in Lower Merion. The group is fronted by the husband-and-wife team of Brian Richardson and Rebecca Raber and backed by their friend Curtis Zimmermann on drums. A cover band, the group taps into the history of rock by playing songs from the 1950s through the 2020s. Their repertoire includes tracks by the likes of Fleetwood Mac, the Talking Heads, the Pixies, Jenny Lewis and Taylor Swift.

Niva Menon

Niva, a member of the Motet Pennsylvania State Choir , and many various ensembles such as the PMEA District Choir , and the Tri-M Music Honors Society, will wow you with your favorites, as well as her own compositions. As a songwriter all kinds of music inspire her to express her emotions. Instruments from the guitar, to the ukulele, to the piano always bring her songs to life . Her favorite original, “38th street”, is a piece she holds dear in her heart. She hopes to inspire the world with her songs.

Dead Band

Dead Band honors the music of the Grateful Dead by taking their own interpretation of the music that millions have grown to love and listen to!

The Shoeshiners

The Shoeshiners play an eclectic mix of bluesy Americana Roots Rock including some original songs. Songs feature acoustic and electric guitars driven by a Cajon drum with a lot of harmonica color thrown in. For a little spice we'll add in a banjo and an electric cigar box slide guitar.

The Stay at Home Band

The Stay At Home Band formed during the Covid pandemic in 2020. Our goal is to provide a little musical entertainment. We play Folk and old Rock & Pop. We have written and published a couple of songs. Hope you enjoy!

The Percolators

Smell the beignets! Taste the Jambalaya as The Percolators: New Orleans Style Party Band charges the atmosphere of PorchFest with passion, fire and soul! The Percolators is a Band that plays traditional and contemporary music from New Orleans and beyond. Our repertoire is drawn from: Jazz, Dixieland, Street Music, Rock and Roll, Blues, Rhythm and Blues, and Funk. Our mission is to infuse the Spirit of Mardis Gras, the greatest party on the planet, into any event we play. As we like to say, "Laissez le bon temps rouler!"
