Joining Lauren on the stage (porch) will be Jack Mendelson on guitar and Ed McNellis on keyboard.

Matt Rosato

A Paoli native and now residing in Massachusetts, Matt Rosato is an acoustic guitarist, as well as a singer-songwriter who performs songs from the classic rock to today. Catch a terrific sample of this very talented multi-instrumentalist and vocalist.

Minerva

Minerva is a 6-piece band whose original music delivers messages of hope embedded in emotionally driven rock. Much like their namesake, the lead singers of Minerva combine both their passion for music with a desire to inspire and heal others. As a cover band, Minerva pay tribute to some of our favorite artists such as Pat Benatar, Doobie Brothers, Elvis Costello, Alicia Keys and more.

M/C Project

Mark T Alberici is a producer, songwriter, recording artist and guitarist from Philadelphia. As a lead guitarist, Mark has performed with Robert Hazzard and the Heroes, Paragon, Storyteller, and PathToZen Garden and is now currently recording with his new projects The Oversizedgroove and live band The M/C project. His music is available on Spotify, Amazon Music,YouTube, Apple Music etc. Vocalist Cynthia Bagola brings her soulful bluesy voice to every note. She can also be found singing in a Jerry Garcia Tribute Band. Mark and Cynthia formed the M/C Project to support each other’s original compositions.

Jay Carlis & The Barrel Fires

Catchy original Americana rock tunes with beautiful male/female harmonies and lyrics that dig deep below the surface. The bands' sound and songwriting is inspired by Jason Isbell, Josh Ritter, Drive-by-Truckers and His Golden Messenger. Jay has released two solo albums and the band has released two EPS, all available on all the streaming platforms.

Fairmount String Quartet

Described as “likable and warmhearted” by the Philadelphia Inquirer, and “expert to the point of perfection” by the Chestnut Hill Local, the Fairmount String Quartet is dedicated to bringing the intimacy and vitality of chamber music to diverse audiences and is committed to performing classical works of historically under-performed composers in addition to those in the standard classical repertoire, works by women composers, and works in diverse genres including pop, jazz, folk, and Latin music.

TC3

TC3 is an acoustic trio which puts its spin on Americana, Folk and even some Classic Rock tunes in addition to original music written by Terri Camilari Making their mark on familiar tunes is what they provide using Guitar, Ukulele and Violin, strong vocals and new but intriguing arrangements.

The Baldwin B-Flats

The B-Flats are a competitive, auditioned a cappella ensemble from The Baldwin School. In Bryn Mawr. They sing a variety of musical styles, including pop, music theater, classical, and contemporary choral works. The group gigs regularly and is involved in a music exchange program with Ordrup Gymnasium from Denmark. In addition to singing as a select ensemble, each of the members of the B-Flats is also a part of the Baldwin School Chorus. They are under the direction of Lee Hagon-Kerr, the Upper School choral director at Baldwin.

The Larks

The Larks, founded in 1961, and the longest running outreach program of the Junior League of Philadelphia, is an a cappella group of volunteer women. From September to June, they perform throughout the Delaware Valley at a variety of venues.

Philadelphia Main Line Ukulele Group

Philadelphia Main Line Ukulele Meetup Group is a free jam group that promotes ukulele playing, activities, and music education. We hold online and in-person events. Our repertoire is eclectic and includes pop music from many eras and styles. Join us! We love new players. The ukulele is a very approachable instrument. They say you can’t be unhappy while playing a ukulele! It’s true!

St. Katharine's Children's Choir

Parishioners from grades 1 through 8 lend their voices to St. Katharine's Children's Choir. Under the direction of Stephanie Twohig and accompanist Laura Kerr, the Children's Choir leads the music twice per month at the Sunday, 9:30 a.m. Family Mass.

Happy Little Train Wreck

Happy Little Train Wreck has been playing music together for over 13 years now. Representing three generations of musical influence. In that time we’ve tried to put our spin on all genres of music, Polka to Punk. Primarily with two acoustic guitars and an upright bass creating the bed for beautiful vocals.

Born and raised in the pine barrens of New Jersey, Rob Tait's music combines his Americana/folk/singer-songwriter vocal style with his deep-rooted love and education of rhythm and the drums. Featuring mostly original music, Rob's band features guitar, pedal steel, bass, and drums, and vocal harmonies. Rob and his band are incredibly excited to be a part of South Wayne PorchFest for the very first time.

The Agnes Irwin Bel Cantos

The Bel Cantos are the a cappella ensemble from The Agnes Irwin Upper School. We perform music from all genres and styles - from the most contemporary to madrigals from the 16th century. We represent our school performing throughout the area at charity events, community functions, and choral festivals.

The Chaperones

The Chaperones are a rock trio based in Lower Merion. The group is fronted by the husband-and-wife team of Brian Richardson and Rebecca Raber and backed by their friend Curtis Zimmermann on drums. A cover band, the group taps into the history of rock by playing songs from the 1950s through the 2020s. Their repertoire includes tracks by the likes of Fleetwood Mac, the Talking Heads, the Pixies, Jenny Lewis and Taylor Swift.

Dead Band

Dead Band honors the music of the Grateful Dead by taking their own interpretation of the music that millions have grown to love and listen to!

The Shoeshiners

The Shoeshiners play an eclectic mix of bluesy Americana Roots Rock including some original songs. Songs feature acoustic and electric guitars driven by a Cajon drum with a lot of harmonica color thrown in. For a little spice we'll add in a banjo and an electric cigar box slide guitar.

The Stay at Home Band

The Stay At Home Band formed during the Covid pandemic in 2020. Our goal is to provide a little musical entertainment. We play Folk and old Rock & Pop. We have written and published a couple of songs. Hope you enjoy!

Karen Dekker & Hannah Rose

Karen Dekker & Hannah Rose are an exceptional violin/viola duo performing music ranging from Baroque to Contemporary. Hannah is the principal violist of the Philadelphia Ballet Orchestra and performs with the Chamber Orchestra of Philadelphia, Opera Philadelphia, and Philadelphia Orchestra. Hannah has been praised for her “rich tonal sonority”. Her orchestral solos have been noted as “exceptional” and “beautifully performed”. Hannah lives in Wayne. Karen lives in West Chester and regularly performs with ensembles such as New York Baroque Incorporated, Orchestra of Saint Luke’s, American Classical Orchestra, The Knights, Händel and Haydn Society, Philharmonia Baroque Orchestra, and several other ensembles in NYC and abroad. She is a member of Philadelphia’s Night Music Ensemble and Franklin Quartet and co-founder of chamber music series Listening in! in West Chester.

Porch Poachers

Porch Poachers are from the Delaware Valley Fingerstyle Guitar Association. Their favorite music is anything that sounds good on a 6-string guitar fingerstyle - which means just about anything - Beatles to classical - folk to jazz standards - ragtime to country.

Zoe FitzGerald Carter

San Francisco Bay Area-based Folk and Americana singer-songwriter, Zoe FitzGerald Carter began playing guitar and singing as a teenager in Washington D.C. where her father was a well-known jazz drummer. In addition to her career as a writer, she’s played and performed with numerous local bands. Zoe's 2021 debut solo Waterlines was released to critical acclaim. Her new album Before The Machine is nothing short of an inspiring delight.

FOR KIDS AND PARENTS: Dani Tapper plays well known, classic sing-along songs on guitar/fiddle. Always a fun selection of songs for children of all ages as well as classic songs that mom and dad can sing along too.

Refrigerator

Refrigerator, a young rock band, plays many different genres of music, including rock, alternative, punk, and indie. They are fun and energetic and perform both originals and covers.

Schrodinger's Cat

An eclectic mix of tunes from classic and contemporary rock, to jazz, blues, folk, funk, and Americana. Their music, always shaken, stirred, and with a twist, is sure to have you tapping your feet and singing along!

The Heartlights

A women's a cappella singing group whose mission is to bring music to those who might otherwise not have access to live music, primarily people in care facilities, or those who cannot leave their homes. Their repertoire consists primarily of pop music from the 1920's to the 1960's. Heart Light also have a few parodies. We enjoy including the audience in our sessions. David Lutken

David Lutken, the tremendously talented Broadway actor whose credits include Inherit The Wind and The Civil War will be bringing his unique blend of Americana and Bluegrass to us. In addition to his Broadway turns, Mr. Lutken won the Helen Hayes Award for Best Actor for his portrayal of Woody Guthrie in Woody Sez: the Life and Music of Woody Guthrie. This fall Mr. Lutken returns to People's Light Theatre in Malvern in the production of his play The Porch on Windy Hill. Mr. Lutken will perform a few tunes from his play, as well as some other folk, bluegrass, and Americana favorites.

Charlotte Morris

Growing up outside of Philadelphia, Charlotte Morris discovered her passion for music at a young age. After starting violin lessons at the age of 4, Charlotte taught herself how to play the guitar, piano (and melodica), ukulele, banjo, acoustic bass guitar and mandolin, and after all of that she began taking her songwriting seriously. She draws inspiration from female driven artists like Delta Rae, Brandi Carlile, Sara Bareilles, Kelsea Ballerini, Maren Morris, and The Chicks. After moving to Nashville, she released her 2nd studio album Wild Child, which took the industry by storm.
